THE MUDDY SCHNITZEL FAMILY MUD RUN

Lace up your sneaks and prepare to get muddy at Morey’s Pier's annual Muddy Schnitzel, a family mud run on the beach between Mariner’s and Adventure Piers. The 1-mile course features over a dozen obstacles including water pits, an army crawl, and king of the dune.

Families have a blast navigating the course together and racing to the finish, where every participant is awarded a finisher medal! The Muddy Schnitzel family mud run kicks off Morey’s annual Oktoberfest celebration.

HERE’S WHAT YOUR MUDDY SCHNITZEL ADMISSION INCLUDES:

One-of-a-kind beach run with super cool obstacles.
Finisher medal
Complimentary beer (must be 21 or over with valid ID), one serving per participant.
Complimentary Root Beer (for kids or adults who prefer a non-alcoholic beverage).
Snacks at the finish (soft pretzels, bottled water, and other treats to help you refuel).

ADMISSION OPTIONS:

Muddy Schnitzel + Amusement Pier (age 10+) $59.50 – Mud run, rides on Mariner’s Pier noon – 10:30 pm, ($64.50 after 8/27/24).
Muddy Schnitzel + Amusement Pier (kids under 10) $49.50 – Mud run, rides on Mariner’s Pier noon – 10:30 pm, ($54.50 if purchased after 8/27/24).
Muddy Schnitzel (age 10+) $39.50 – Mud run admission ($44.50 after 8/27/24).
Muddy Schnitzel (kids under 10) $29.50 – Mud run admission ($34.50 after 8/27/24).
Muddy Schnitzel T-Shirt - $25 must order online by 8/27/24 and pick up during the event (t-shirts cannot be shipped).

COURSE DETAILS:

The 1-mile course starts and ends at PigDog Beach (oceanfront end of Mariner’s Pier at Schellenger Avenue.) The first heat begins promptly at 10 am, with additional heats every 20 minutes. You must select your heat at registration. Each participant must complete a waiver prior to participating in the event (a parent/guardian must complete a waiver for children under 18). There is a course map at check-in and directional signs on the course to help you navigate.

The Muddy Schnitzel is appropriate for kids five and older (younger children may participate at the discretion of their parent/guardian). You may opt out of an obstacle at any time by simply running or walking around. An adult must accompany children under 13 on the course. Only registered runners are permitted on the course. All participants must wear sneakers during the event. Wildwood EMS is present on the course throughout the duration of the event.
